TechCrunch is killing it with the FashTech coverage this week! But my favorite story is about Google Glass taking a turn at New York Fashion Week – and it also illustrates why communities like SF Fashion + Tech are so important. Diane Von Furstenburg and Sergey Brin were chatting under a tree – she asked about the glasses he was wearing, and later on in the conversation her fashion show came up. She invited him to come, and he later suggested that she incorporate the Glass. There is so much potential for innovation – the fashion and technology circles just need to intersect.
