Father and son team, Donald and Cole Glassner have experienced 28 years in the framing industry. They have proposed a solution: Frame Your Gram. Not only does Frame Your Gram save bloggers time and trouble, it may show the potential to save money. With a hand-picked included frame, an 8 x 8 print and included shipping, Frame Your Gram’s consistent $25 product provides a competitive alternative to pricey printing centers. Other websites and apps such as PostalPix and Prinstagram provide the services of solely printing instagram photos and sending them in hard copy to users. However, Cole Glassner states “[these] sites will print your instagrams but that’s about it. We don’t view them as competitors, it’s an entirely different service. Frame Your Gram is about letting the Instagram user enhance their art with real framing options.” Frame Your Gram is the first to print and frame instagram photos in several clicks or taps, all on one website.
But to be able to make Frame Your Gram a reality and a potential success, the Glassners need $9,200 from their crowd funders. So far, they have raised $1,777 from confident and supportive contributors.
On Indiegogo, the website the Glassners are using to launch their Frame Your Gram campaign, Jeffery Roberts, a client from the Glassners previous successful framing business raves about their “top notch framework and great service and support.” Even bloggers on Indiegogo who are not familiar with the Glassners previous work seem to be thrilled to hear about Frame Your Gram’s mission. Maria Marco writes “I can’t wait to frame all my instagrams,” while Louise Johnson acknowledges “I have a lot of instagrams I want framed [and I am] excited for [Frame Your Gram] to launch.”
With enough support and encouragement, Frame Your Gram has the potential to be a trendy, sought after product, as it is changing the way Instagram users bring their digital prints to life.
